Entrepreneurs were formed in the winter of 2005 by Douglas Clarke
(Guitar and VOX) and Mathew Shemilt (Drums and Scrambled Egg Sandwiches)
in Mathew’s garage/ kitchen. After months of writing songs in
said garage the band decided to get these recorded, and after several
attempts and many months had recordings of a reasonable enough standard
to make an EP, which they called ‘With Stars and the Cosmic
Motion’ and released on 18th August with a gig at the wonderful
Bannermans in Edinburgh. Then they started to play live more often.
They are really good at writing music, but not much cop at writing
biographies…but still they TRY!

Born
and bred in Livingston, the grey area between Edinburgh and Glasgow,
they have a collective age of 38 and height of 11 foot 11 inches.
Starsign - Mermaid. Active since 28th July 2005.
